Scoring in Internals at LPU

Internal marks split:

Attendance =5

Presentation =5

Case study =5

Class participation =5

Quiz= 10

Assignments =10

Mid terms =20

Total Internal 60

1.The most easiest of marks which can be scored are attendance(although in the end it turns out to be the most difficult to score off for many students).

Attendance is further divided as percentage and equivalent marks as:

Below 75% aggregate will be detained (what so ever may be the reason)

75 –80 % will get 1 mark

80-85% will get 2 marks

85-90% will get 3 marks

90-95% will get 4 marks

95-100% will get 5 marks

2.In class participation , a teacher basically see the overall effort and dedication shown by the student(it doesn’t simply means you just have to speak in the class.)If you are good ,you are good,so if you give results and do work regularly you will secure a minimum of 3.5

3.Quiz:There will be two quizzes in each term. The questions will be multiple choice and most of these questions either you would have done in the class or teacher would have told you at some point or the other. So, if you attend lectures attentively ,or atleast making notes in the class,solving multiple choices will not be a problem for you.

4.Presentation:For an MBA at LPU presentations will become a part and parcel of his routine life.Each student will give about 9-10 presentations per semester.These can be group or individual presentations. On how to give effective presentations please refer to this topic explained elsewhere in this blog.(Select topic from list given on your right.)

5.Assignments:The exact number of assignments depends on each individual teacher but on an average you will have to submit about 25-30 Assignments per semester. These can be group or individual assignments. On how to write assignments please refer to this topic explained elsewhere in this blog.(Select topic from list given on your right.)

6.Case study:There will be a case provided to group of students and they will have to prepare a case based presentation.The group is free to divide the task among themselves and schedule their presentation.On how to attempt a case study please refer to this topic explained elsewhere in this blog.(Select topic from list given on your right.)

7.Mid terms: These are the proper examinations in which exactly one-half of the syllabus will be asked.Here the teacher comes to know about the exact potential and caliber of each student. And if you are able to gain a good impression in mid terms,you most probably will create a brand image of yours which will help you to score good marks in internals. On how to attempt a exams at LPU please refer to this topic explained elsewhere in this blog.(Select topic from list given on your right.)
