Now you are ready to face this shrewd world. Open your account on following freelancing websites, and upload complete profile:

Step 9: Apply for jobs

There will be plenty of jobs available on these websites. You must look for job only in your specific niche. Each of these websites have different algorithm of showing jobs. Check all the websites, their tutorials, understand the jobs, its requirements and find out what is expected from you.

Look around how jobs are being posted, check how people are applying, open the profiles of successful freelancers and learn which type of jobs, they have completed. Check what type of skills, they have and how they have highlighted them in their profile. Copy it. (With changed language)

Step 10: Customize your written cover letter, and grab a job

Do not apply everywhere with general cover letter. Customize your cover letter, adding the keywords from the mentioned job requirements.

Be very specific and answer this question: Why you should be hired for this particular job.

Write a very convincing cover letter, if needed, the client can chat with you, asking for more details or specific information. Be ready for this and check the platform frequently.

Getting first job is most difficult. Once you complete one job, your chances of getting more jobs increases exponentially.
